Contemporary Zen
Editorials:
Contemporary Zen is a section purely created to bring forth the most
important
weapon any warrior could ever create or have in their arsenal...
thought.
The discussions in this section will have elements of Zen based
thinking,
analogies, some harmless joking or sarcasm, and more importantly some
rational,
clearly thought out dialogue. The hot topics to be discussed will
contrast greatly. They will be written about subjects we would
like
to write about for mostly entertainment purposes. Opinions will
vary
on any of the issues discussed on this page, ours is just another point
of view with a small level of amusement involved. That is,
depending
on your sense of humor.

Kenpo Diversity:
This section, devoted to shedding some light on an issue that has been
quite a topic of conversation around the internet, and apparently in
the
real world. This issue being a huge inability to get along with
each
other and our perspective beliefs. Whether it's the Kenpo
organization
you study under, to the martial arts you chose to study, there seems to
be a very nasty trend within and even outside the internet towards a
genuine
lack of civility and respect. No matter if you are walking around
wearing a Kenpo sweatshirt and someone takes it upon themselves to let
you know you are training in the wrong martial science, or someone has
the kind-hearted sense of decency to let you know you are doing Kenpo
wrong,
there seems to be a very interesting inclination towards impolite
conjecture.
So we at Dragon Tales decided to write about it. Kind of a
"part of the solution, not part of the problem" decision which will
involve
many different concepts. Artwork, articles, and anything else we
can come up with as a tribute to the true power of Kenpo, the ever
diligent
and constantly training student.
